Some methods need the isolation, sorting and/or dispensing of single, isolated cells, such as B-cell identification for antibody discovery, or monoclonal CHO cell line development. This application can now be achieved with the N1 Single-Cell Dispenser.

There are currently two possible ways of cell sorting. Ether users select one population of cells for single-cell deposition into 96- or 384-well plates, where the user can select between 1 and 100 cells per well to dispense, or a two-way bulk cell sorting is possible. Since seeding can also be performed directly on PCR plates, single-cell genomics assays are now easier than ever.

The option to control the N1 is already integrated into the intuitive software of every Wolf device, so there is no further software needed. Select the single-cell tab, decide where the instrument should deposit cells and the device is all set up.
