The VERLO™ Image-Guided Cell Sorter utilises patented microfluidic-based sorting, combining laser excitation with sensitive PMT detectors to isolate mammalian cells, microbes, and plant cells. A precise piezoelectric actuator directs cells into collection channels, enabling analysis and sorting in a disposable format, preventing cross-contamination and reducing biohazard risks.

Capable of sorting up to 200 cells per second with high accuracy, the VERLO™ supports both bulk and single-cell sorting. The integrated Single-Cell Dispenser deposits 1 to 100 cells per well in a 96- or 384-well plate. With 488 nm and 561 nm lasers, it detects up to nine fluorescent markers and three label-free parameters, providing insights into cell structures, internalisation, morphology, and viability.

Users can gate on image features like Area vs Max Intensity, similar to traditional FSC vs BSC gating. Real-time image analysis allows sorting without prior full-sample analysis, optimising workflow efficiency.

  • Disposable sorting cartridges for both bulk and single-cell sorting.
  • Piezoacoustic actuator ensures gentle and precise sorting with instant accuracy feedback.
  • Bulk sorting capability, directing two selected populations into separate channels.
  • Single-cell deposition for precise plating in 96- or 384-well formats.
  • CellVantage software, integrating flow cytometry tools with an interactive image gallery.
