Introducing Electroporation Technology
The ExTransfection Electroporation System is a benchtop device designed to support efficient transfection across a broad range of cell types, including cell lines, primary cells, stem cells, and hematopoietic cells.
With the ExTransfection Tip – a single-electroporation chamber – the system applies accurate electrical pulses, creating a uniform field that enables strong transfection efficiency while preserving cell viability.
-
High Efficiency: Provides strong, evenly distributed pulses with minimal loss
-
Excellent Viability: Keeps cells viable throughout the procedure
-
Broad Compatibility: Suitable for mammalian, primary, stem, and blood cells
-
Reliable Results: Offers reproducibility under consistent conditions
-
Flexible Volumes: Works with both 10 μL and 100 μL samples
-
Optimised Protocols: Includes 300 pre-set, cell-specific protocols
Microporation Technology
NanoEntek pioneered microporation technology to address the drawbacks of conventional cuvette-based electroporation. At the heart of this approach is a capillary-style electric chamber, where the reduced electrode surface area comes into direct contact with the sample.
The combination of a small electrode surface and a wider gap between electrodes generates a uniform electric field within the ExTransfection™ Tip. The insulated capillary design further limits electrolysis during the process, resulting in improved transfection efficiency and sustained cell viability.

High Transfection Efficiency
ExTransfection™ enables efficient transfection across a wide range of cell lines, including primary cells.
Performance is evaluated using fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry, and the system consistently achieves reliable results in different primary cell types.

Applications: Gene Editing, CRISPR/Cas9
CRISPR/Cas9 is a versatile genome-editing technology that enables accurate DNA modifications, opening possibilities for treating genetic disorders and advancing personalised medicine.
By correcting specific mutations, this method has the potential to transform therapeutic approaches to inherited diseases.
ExTransfection™: Advancing Your CRISPR/Cas9 Research
ExTransfection™ provides a reliable platform for gene editing, delivering high knockout efficiency and supporting analyses such as double gene knockouts, surface marker studies, transcription factor regulation, and intracellular sensor research.
This makes it possible to explore gene functions in immune cells with precision, contributing to progress in immunological studies and the development of new therapies.
