The Neogen® Petrifilm® Coliform Count Plate provides confirmed results in just 24 hours. The Petrifilm Coliform Count Plates can help increase productivity and reduce overall laboratory costs by eliminating the additional confirmation steps required by most traditional reference methods. This plate is a sample-ready culture medium system that contains Violet Red Bile (VRB) nutrients, a cold-water-soluble gelling agent, and a tetrazolium indicator to support colony enumeration in food and beverage samples.
The Petrifilm Coliform Count Plate can also be read using the Petrifilm Plate Reader Advanced, which provides consistent, fast, automated reading and recording of Petrifilm Plate results in just six seconds.
