Petrifilm® Environmental Listeria Plates 8×25

The Neogen® Petrifilm® Environmental Listeria Plate is a ready-to-use culture medium containing selective agents, nutrients, a cold-water-soluble gelling agent, and a chromogenic indicator to detect Listeria colonies. The Petrifilm Environmental Listeria Plates are specifically designed to analyze environmental samples, helping improve plant sanitation monitoring efficiency. Results are available within just 26 to 30 hours.

The presence of an indicator Listeria, such as Listeria innocua, indicates that environmental conditions may support the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The Petrifilm® Environmental Listeria Plate detects most ecological Listeria species, including Listeria monocytogenes, Listeria innocua, and Listeria welshimeri. L. ivanovii, L. grayi/murrayi, and L. seeligeri may grow, but do not form typical colonies.
