The Neogen® Petrifilm® Large Square Spreader is compatible with Neogen® Petrifilm Environmental Listeria Plates. Once the sample has been prepared, the top film is lifted from the Neogen® Petrifilm Plate to expose the inoculation area, and the diluted sample is added. The technician then replaces the film over the sample and uses the spreader to distribute it evenly. The spreader’s clear acrylic construction allows the technician to ensure proper distribution of the inoculum.
