This spreader is compatible with the following Neogen® Petrifilm® Plates: Aerobic Count Plates, Coliform Count Plates, Rapid Coliform Count Plates, Enterobacteriaceae Count Plates, E. coli/Coliform Count Plates, and Aqua Heterotrophic Count Plates. Once the sample has been prepared, the top film is lifted from the Neogen® Petrifilm Plate to expose the inoculation area, and the diluted sample is applied. The technician then replaces the film over the sample and uses the spreader to distribute it evenly. The precise acrylic construction of the spreader enables the technician to ensure proper distribution of the inoculum.
