Precise Pressure Control with the SciPres® II System
The SciPres® II is a digital pressure monitoring system designed for applications requiring precise, multi-point pressure measurement. It monitors, displays and documents readings from three independent single-use, pre-calibrated pressure sensors (P1, P2 and P3), while also calculating transmembrane pressure (TMP) or differential pressure (DP). When used alongside SciDoc™ software, all data can be recorded automatically in real time and stored directly on a computer, supporting reliable documentation and traceability.
Each connected sensor benefits from a digital output alarm that signals user-defined high and low pressure limits, including for the calculated TMP or DP value. The accompanying SciPres II single-use sensors are available as standalone components or can be integrated into laboratory pumps and bioprocessing NFF and TFF systems. They provide certified, NIST-traceable calibration and are available in extended-use formats. In addition, the sensors are gamma-stable, NaOH-stable and autoclave-stable, offering robustness across a wide range of workflows.
The system is suitable for a wide variety of bioprocessing applications, including protein purification and concentration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, diafiltration, perfusion, and TFF workflows. It also supports NFF processes, chromatography column loading, fermentation and bag manifold assemblies, providing dependable pressure control across upstream and downstream operations.
