ProteinMaker™
The ProteinMaker from Protein BioSolutions is an automated, powerful preparative purification system. It is designed for high-throuput parallel purification of up to 24 protein, nucleic acid or or antibody samples. The system can be used with pre-packed chromatography cartridges or columns, including affinity, IMAC, IEX, or HIC resins from all major resin manufacturers.
This instrument allows multiple load, wash and elution buffers to be used in parallel along independent lines for up to 24 individual samples. This is accomplished by combining a x-y-z robotic system with 24 liquid dispensing manifolds controlled by an intuitive, easy-to-use software. As an option the system can be upgraded with a 24 channel UV-detector which allows monitoring and controlling the separation and helps you identify the correct fraction containing your valuable sample.
The main application areas of the ProteinMaker are:

- Screen compound samples and expression levels of up to 24 samples at a time
- Production of a few 100 mg protein for e.g. protein crystallography
- Multi column purification (e.g. affinity combined with IEX) for antibody production.
