Cedex® Bio HT – Bioanalyzer for bioprocess control
The Cedex® Bio HT Analyzer is a multi-analyser for monitoring bioprocesses and fermentations. The wide range of measurable parameters allows the Cedex® Bio HT Analyzer to monitor the production and to develop and optimise growth conditions for mammalian, bacteria, and yeast culture systems. Substrates, metabolites, and products are measured photometrically by the Cedex Bio HT Analyzer, which is recommended for high throughput screening. The Cedex Bio HT Analyzer processes numerous samples simultaneously with minimal manual intervention.
The 96-well upgrade kit allows for the use of 96-well plates for a total capacity of up to 96 + 30 samples. Automated sample dilution saves time and ensures high accuracy. For process optimisation, the full automation of the Cedex® Bio HT also allows online integration with other automated systems.
Are you interested in automating the data handling of your Cedex Bio HT Analyzer?
Then, look at Sm@rtLine Data Cockpit (SDC) from our partner AGU. SDC is a middleware for central data handling in production, development, and research. It enables the connection of the Cedex Bio HT Analyzer (and many more analysers) to your LIMS system.

Cedex® Bio HT Analyzer Multiwell Upgrade
It presents the Cedex Bio HT Analyzer Multiwell Upgrade, enabling high-throughput automated measurement on 24-, 48-, and 96-well plates to reduce hands-on time, human error, and accelerate bioprocess feedback loops.
Use Case: A Smart Path for Novel Biologics
This use case describes how the pRED implemented automated microbioreactors and Cedex Bio HT analyzers to process up to 250 samples daily, increasing fermentation throughput 4–5× without additional staff.
Optimising bioprocess development with real-time high-throughput analytics
The article explains how Roche’s Cedex Bio Analyzer platform enables real-time, high-throughput analytics to drive data-driven optimization across early-stage bioprocess development.
