aWLife Water Activity Meter
The aWLife aw meter (Previously named Waterlab) is indispensable for determining the shelf life of a product and the risk of microbial growth over time, especially in the quality control of products and ingredients in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries, pet food production or the herbal sector.
The aWLife convinces with its speed and precision in measuring water activity (aw) thanks to its dew point sensor, which measures the actual water activity, and not related or secondary parameters as is the case with other types of sensors. This enables the aWLife to comply with quality standards for water activity determination like ISO18787, Pharmacopeia USP 1112 and AOAC 978.18, making it one of the fastest and most accurate aw meters on the market.
The easy operation and intuitive menu navigation via the integrated touch screen display as well as new calibration and control modes allow the user to perform fast measurements and also to optimize analysis times, even when measuring samples with very different aw values multiple times. Data can be exported in a variety of ways. Any contamination of the sample chamber is easy to detect and to clean without risk of damage due to the easy access by opening the lid and the smart design of the chamber.
