We are excited to share that I&L Biosystems has established a partnership with Opentrons, a pioneering manufacturer of accessible and flexible liquid-handling platforms.

Opentrons believes that scientists should be able to focus on their science to accelerate discovery and innovation and that access to automation is a key tool in achieving this goal.

Their mission is to democratize access to laboratory robotics, providing the scientific community with a common platform to easily share protocols and reproduce each other’s results.

As part of this partnership, we are introducing two state-of-the-art automation platforms.

Opentrons® OT-2 robot: The OT-2 robot is a compact liquid handler developed to enable affordable automation of many common lab applications. It is an open-source system that can automate a range of applications across genomics, proteomics, and drug discovery workflows.

Opentrons Flex™ liquid handling robot: Opentrons Flex is an advanced liquid handling robot designed for high throughput and complex workflows. The modular system is easily interchangeable. The Flex robot delivers consistent and accurate results across a range of applications, including NGS, PCR, protein purification, and many more.

Opentrons Robotics products are available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark & Sweden
