OsmoTECH® – Single sample micro-osmometer

The OsmoTECH® Single-Sample Micro-Osmometer has been specifically developed to meet the demanding requirements of the biotech industry. Cell viability and product quality can be monitored in up- and downstream processes by determining osmolality. With the new OsmoTECH®, Advanced Instruments offers a micro osmometer that meets the requirements of 21 CFR part 11 compatibility. Password security, audit trail and access control play an important role. The integrated barcode scanner simplifies sample identification. The method of freezing point depression offers highest precision and reliability and thus serves to optimize your quality control.

With a sample volume of only 20 µl, the osmolality can be determined within 90 seconds in direct sampling. The OsmoTECH® can choose between a 2- or 3-point calibration (50, 850 and 2000 mOsm/kg H₂O) and communicates via Ethernet, USB or an integrated web server. In addition, it is possible to connect a printer to the instrument. The OsmoTECH® is factory calibrated and ready to test.
